26 Jan 2011On January 24, 2011 at 8:20 a.m. the victim was walking in the 3100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue and was approached by a male white adult who attempted to engage her in conversation. The victim noticed another male in the driver’s seat of an awaiting vehicle. The victim ignored the suspect. The suspect suddenly grabbed the victim and began pulling her into the street to the awaiting vehicle. The victim struggled with the suspect and managed to free herself. The victim then ran to New Roads School and immediately reported the incident to school officials, who then contacted the Santa Monica Police Department. The victim was not injured.
The primary suspect is described as a male, white, in his 20’s, 5’ 08” with a slim build. The suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, light blue jeans and tennis shoes. The suspect in the vehicle is described only as a male.
The suspect vehicle is described as an unknown make black four door sedan, with tinted windows.
