27 Mar 2011Author Neal Pollack took to the yoga mat after The New York Times called him “doughy” in a negative review of one of his novels. Pollack soon found himself immersed in a crazy world of 24-Hour yogathons, yoga rock concerts, and other strange cultural forms that he’d never known existed before yoga took over his life. Now Pollack is a certified yoga instructor himself. He’ll read from his popular new yoga memoir Stretch and discuss the state of yoga culture today. Sure to be funny, irreverent, and possibly a little enlightening, Pollack’s talk is geared for yoga true believers and skeptics alike. He may even give headstand lessons.
